Look, it comes to this: events are planned around when the hosts are available, and when the players are available; this is unavoidable. If you have a better time for it, point that out. If the host can't manage it, do something yourself.
I haven't seen any actual suggestions from anybody else to improve things. I haven't seen any actual attempts from anybody else to host their own event.
Until you can do something better, shut the hell up and quit filling the forums with piss and vitriol.
Blah blah modnazi, but cut it out or soon half the "community" will be lacking posting rights.

The times are rather hard for alot of our current player base to make, considering it'll be directly after/during school for most North American players, making it hard for people to show up.
Try pushing it back to after 5pm EST and there would be a bigger turnout for it.
And maybe one day events will evolve into something more then simple Attack/Defend scenarios.

I think what Doran ment to say is that even as host, you have to plan it for the community and not yourself. If your sub is going to run out, resub. Don't get snappy when players make comments that they can't make an event because you schedule it on your time. If you want to be a good host for events, you've got to make sacrifices for the players who do want to attend but can't.

While thats true, somewhat, i think it's nice that someone is taking an active interest in events at all. I know i certainly don't ever have time and never have had the patiance to organize any sort of event, save for the "you wanna meet on tues to obliterate a few people?". While it may not be convenient for the playeerbase, instead of complaining about it, why doesn't someone ELSE try and put something out at a more convenient time?
Unless you have a good idea, or maybe would like to help out in organization/time/reff/what ever... then don't bother ranting and raving, because you'll only cause grief and people will just be annoyed with you.
Now act like your old enough to wipe yourselves and continue with your lives!
