I have been using vista since Beta 1.
On two work machines, and my home machine.

I have two work machines, because some programs require Sun java, and some require Microsoft VM.

I am the Network Administrator (not one of... the), so my work machines are not only my job, but the jobs of everyone else. My xfire pretty much details a fairly active home gaming life.

To date... my complaint list...

Incompatible with Windows Exchange messenger 4.7, but 5.1 had been out for years... we just had old exchange servers. BETA 1

Did not inherit administrator rights from Active Directory logins, only from local machine log ins. BETA 2, resolved in later builds.

This is the COMPLETE list. I have never had any other troubles, and I believe myself to be the person who has used it the most that does not work for Microsoft.

I have never heard of a "Vista Problem" that was not caused by one of three things.

The person was a retard.
The person was a retard.
or,
The person was a retard.

I feel this to be fairly comprehensive.

I'm my experience, most performance related issues with Vista are solved by having no less than 2GB of RAM.

The "downgrade" thing is nice until Windows 7 comes around, but usually it costs $60-$100 onto of the cost w/ Vista to downgrade. :/
