Just a suggestion, please exclude support type and aphid frigates from duels.
With repair drone it will take ages to finish a frigate battle.

being as it has almost no weapons I don't see how it would be useful

I have SOME blues on all my ships. They aren't ALL blues on ALL ships. Geez. I'm not a uggy, for Pete's sake.
And what else is there to do BUT farm AI when you don't have PvP? Might as well get geared up for PvP when it does happen. Besides, we help each other out on =Wolf=, and we farm and spread out so we are all moderately enhanced.
All that said, Sign me up. I look forward to killing somebody, and when I win, I hope to get even better enhancements. If not, I farmed 'em once, I'll farm 'em again.
Just be glad I don't have to farm YOU to get them, and pity the pirates.

Also, doesn't DarkSpace have an Event Staff? I would suggest, because of certain...difficulties with the last event, that an Event Staffer be on hand to monitor the event. Not participate, but monitor. I really think its a good idea to have a moderator with Modpower™ on hand, ready to send down the offspringofmothernatureandzues lightening bolt of bootpower when needed. That or it shouldn't be listed as a sanctioned event. My opinion.

Or, you could Easily take 5 minutes, make a random "Events-R-Us" star deep in space with 1 jumpgate that leads no where. You only come in, no leaving.
I had more but someone started talking to me and i forgot...

The AI are pretty good at finding events in remote areas. Even when we were in Kaus Borealis on the opisite side of the star system in deep space between kaus and BD, the MI found us..

This is an unfair Event for new players or semi new players.
This ship class should be chosen by the players Fighting eachother.
This way even new players could join the event and try their best or even pwn some older players 
So the final fight could be frigate vs frigate or dessie vs dessie.
Who cares, its not ship size that mathers its the pilot skill, RIGHT?
Everyone should get their chance to be a part of these events.

I didn't come up with the idea, and I lowered the ladder as it is to Admiral instead of Fleet Admiral, because originally the ladder rose to stations also the event will likely be held in beta...

If youwere new or semi new....you likely woulndn't have the skill necessary to beat someone who is rank FA anyway, so....ya case in point.
If you want Frigate on Frigate action all the way, then maybe make your own little event, personally i want to see all layers, from frig to dread, cause 16 people slugging it out in dessies only would be a bit boring...Plus this way you can test your metle against other people in different classes of ships, no just one.
Think of it, who's the best OverAll Fighter, not just One class?

Events name was Grand Tournament, NOT High rank tournament.
Thats why i pointed out the fact that new players should have a chance to join in this event too.

MI dont "find you," they already "know" where you are, because you are in within their "detection area," which presumabley covers ALL of Kaus.

any way to get the fleet wars server temporarily set up?
And yeah, I think it would be cool to have a tiered 1 on 1, dueling type event. But he is doing a different one, and it's cool the way he wants to do it. If somebody would setup what u are talking about, I'm sure it would be a popular event as well. YOU should set it up

Well some kluth weapons and ships has different layout in beta.
This need to be considered.

Thank you for your input, it is invalid.
Stations are the ones with differant layouts..... and since stations are not a part of the event.... I see no problems...
