Buying montly coupons would be a start ... i mean you will not remove the subscribtion... but subscribe players can buy 1 month coupon and give it a way to people who need it...
How about this idea...
6 months subscription = + pink enhancement
3 months subscription = + advance enhamcemt
1 month subscritoon = + Enhance Enhancement
1 month coupon = + improved enhacement.
Think of it as a promo. 
and oh .. how about a button that says something like this in our account,
1) Gift 1 month subscription to player @343445334, cost you $ 9.99
do you wish to continue. Yes / No.
you will received 1 random enhancement in your garage make sure you
have room in you garage.
or
2) Donate $ ****.00 to Darkspace.
LOL limit this to something like $ 50.00-$ 100.00 maximum per transaction ... we dont want to send our whole account by mistake do we.
