Llama's Ventrilo Server
Hello. I am running a Ventrilo server; it's quite nice. All that is needed is the Ventrilo software and a microphone; it is completely free.

Instructions
Step I. Download the Ventrilo client from this page.
Step II. Install and open up the program; click on the arrow (->) to the right of the User Name box and fill out the information. Phonetic, Description, and Work Dir are not necessary but are optional.
Step III. Open up the Server box's arrow and click New. Fill in a name of your choice; it is for your personal reference. Fill in Hostname or IP with silver.typefrag.com. Then fill out Port Number with 5941.
Step IV. Click the Connect button and begin chatting! Use the Setup window to designate a push-to-talk key.
Step V. ?????
Step VI. PROFIT!

Yeah, but his is a little bit rigid... Most of my space will be devoted to DarkSpacers, rather than WoW... and I am a hell of a lot more willing to add faction and clan channels.

I am not doing this to steal from Jack or to compete with him... he has helped the DarkSpace community a lot, especially over the last few years, and has had his server running for a long time... but his should not be the only choice, and there are some ways I feel I could improve our methods of chatting in DS, specifically through specified channels for faction, clans, and groups that can be requested of me and I could set up very soon, compared to Jack's server, which has grown to be somewhat set in stone.

Codenemisis, it is not empty unless you join at odd hours, especially on a weekday. JBud has not banned anyone; I check the ban logs daily. Most of the people that come on are American and will generally not be on when Americans will be at work; with the exception of a few Britons and an Australian. So if you come on at a reasonable hour, there will be someone there.

Had them around, no one used them, so got removed.
If you do Absolutely want a faction specific channel ask. as they can be created with ease.

The tag is fake. Who impersonated me in my server? And I took down the DS rooms because they were used once.
Also, this post was made a few weeks ago entirely on another's advice. I really do not care who from DS uses it at this point. For every good experience I have had with DarkSpace I have had two bad... if you want to use it, just use it. If not, don't. That's simple. And I mentioned the faction specific channels because I was told that it would be an improvement.
