im also playing through a router and mine is fine either way by either way i mean i dont have to touch anything and my router is not running in DMZ mode, also my norton make the adjustments on my routers ports for me i loves my nortons and for a hard core gamer norton used to be a gamers bain not anymore.

also heres the official Info you requested ...

What ports do I need to allow through my firewall?
Make sure that your firewall allows communication over the TCP and UDP protocols, range of ports 9000 - 9020, 9100-9101 in both directions.

TCP port 9001 is used for GCQL communication
TCP port 9004 is default game server communication port
TCP ports 9100 is used for GCQL/GAME login initialization
TCP port 9101 is used for GCQL/GAME updating process

ports not listed here are reserved for future use or servers (e.g. each MV server uses its own TCP port for connection)

Hope this helpes you.

Nice FAQ paste.
.. Really nothing against you but don't consider the faq to be the ultimate form of information.

You are right tho Both TCP and UDP ports should be forwarded.
But since Titan.palestar was created the actual game server ports have varied away a bit from 9004/9020.
Titan servers start at 9030 and end at 9070 at a 5 port interval. 9030, 9035, 9040 etc.

So IF you have problems with your router or its UPnP,
it might be worth to check if forwarding the entire range from 9000 till 9101, does the trick.

But its 1 AM i'm tired from partying, Hope it works for ya.
But i'm out of here.
