I've noticed a few things about this bug, and one guess as to a possible cause.

Observations:
1. When you're bugged, it doesn't just appear. Your signature gradually rises.
2. Quicklogging and/or using a shipyard fix it temporarily, until it happens again.

Now for the possible cause:
I often, when using a Claw or Scale, will fire my disruptors and cloak while they're still firing. I think this may have something to do with the bug.

my observation. It sucks.

***edit***

Good job fixxing the bug that seemed to allow us to fire while cloaked. We weren't actually cloaked, but enemy couldn't see us. That seems to be fixxed. (this didn't happen for me, but I have seen it happen to others.)

NOW. Please get to work on the one that shoots your signature up to +1000 and makes it impossible to cloak. Extremely detrimental to a Kluth. BTW, quicklogging has yet to fix this bug. For me anyways. I get this ALOT.

I had it most in Rogen's. If/when I would die, if I respawn the same ship, the sig shoots WAY up. Sometimes targeting something and firing will "reset" your sig immediately back to normal. That only worked about 15 - 20% of the time tho. The rest of the time, nothing, including shipyarding, short of a full logout for two mins works.

I discovered something interesting just now.

Parked my Combat Dessie at an ICC planet. Swapped out my Pulse Beams for regular Lasers. Signature shot through the roof. Swapped back to Pulse Beams, it went back down but was still high.

I have determined through trial and error that equipping a Chemical Laser adds 98.6 signature and equipping a Pulse Beam adds 26.6. This only lasts until I fire the weapons, at which point my signature drops back to normal and does not go insanely high until I mod my beams again.

This does not happen with any of my other weapons, just my beams.
