I'm writing a story, something of a sequel to Coeus's DS Twilight.
Basically, If you want to be in it, Something like this will do. If you want something other than your nickname in DS, then say something. If I can't find a suitable alternative to some names that just don't fit, then I'll give you a random name if you don't come up with something yourself. See if you want a specific role. If you want to put a quirk or specialty or something, that's fine too. Since I'm me...
Ian - Main Character
Habit of drinking until passed out on teh floor. (Just an example)
... or something like that. I may not actually put you in the way you want though. And no Jack, assuming you'd like to be in the story, you cannot be completely awesome for no particular reason other than being awesome. You cannot be a Spartan either.

Er, unless you've gotten permission from Coeus, don't.
I don't think you can match up to him in writing, and it'd be a sin for anything related to his Twlight to be shotty. Also, trying to invite people to be in it isn't exactly a great writing style either.

I'm not going to do it as a direct sequel. And inviting is better than just randomly picking people. I know I can't match up to Coeus, but if it sucks it won't matter anyways since you won't see it. If anything, you'll help me get better for when I actually have to write stuff. At least DS is a topic I enjoy!

Putting people in a story usually means you put their username in, and it's just retarded to see 'fastjay2008 and tootsie09' as characters. Make your own, give them backstories, that kind of thing.

Crim, you didn't really read my post did you. I already said if some names seemed like they wouldn't work out well I'd make something up. Also the reason I ask those who would like to be in teh story come up with something they like. There is a bit of communication in there where required. -.-

Its nice of you to ask if people want to be put in, though traditionally past writers have just chucked whoever into it. The choice is ultimately yours, and most won't care either way. You can use me, so long as you don't kill me off in the first paragraph

No, you can't write a sequal to Twilight - that line of characters and ships is mine and I may well come back to the dozen or so sequals prequals and offshoots that I've started since finishing it.
Trust me, you'll have an easier time if you start your own independent plotline. Besides, anything written in the DS universe is in the DS universe, so it's not like you can really go too far fetched from ACs and Mycopia and so on & so forth.
Want a little tip? Don't use player requests for story placements - you'll never be able to make them all happy and some people will not like what happens to them. Don't make the story centering around you either, it makes yourself more flexible with the main character.

Trust me, it has almost nothing to do with your story, it's set differently. I already thought you might say that. For christ's sake the main char isn't even in the military! More interesting that way. After a while you could pretty much predict how the story goes but the way I have it allows randomness. I change all the names anyways. True, there aren't really that many places in DS, but we all know how... unfinished, DS is anyways.
Besdes, in and out of the forums, I've gotten sooooooooo many complaints that probably the only person who will see it is Tellaris, and that's because he is in it. -.- I already said if it isn't really worth reading I wouldn't have put it up anyways. I guess words can only go so far though. >.<
