i was wondering if we realy feel we must limit dreads and stations
a fair way might be to charge a launch cost to planets resources lets say 100k for stations and like 50k for dreads and make it so these ships can only be spawnd from ship yards.

Any ship class va and below have no penalty and can be launched from any spawn point also larger ships moving between server gates has no penalty.

This would cut down instant station & dread spam.

A good idea, especially for stations, it can really kill the game and momentum when 6 stations per side are spawned and just sit there like a bunch of lemons.

omg i kept this on topic.

Admiral server ftw.
Was better when the servers were such that the lower level noobs were able to play without having to worry about dreads because they couldn't be spawned in Newbie server, only Admiral server. That in and of itself seemed to offer some sort of balance, and made it a more friendly experiance for the new players.

Is this on topic? Not sure. I guess I'll know if it gets deleted

i think limiting stations (1 or 2) and dreads (3 or 4) per team would create balance in scenario (def not MV) but there arent enough players (even during this free trial) to split between newbie and admiral, it would just lead to both being barely played.
