Sounds like a great idea and I will prolly buy it if its not a total bomb. I would also like to see a fleet command game where you can move up through the different fleet ships. Wouldn't it be awesome to fly around in the SSD and blow ships out of the sky? I could maybe see them having a great new RP or RTS out of that even it there is no online play. But thats just coming from an unrepentant Star Wars geek so take it as you like.

theres a ship editor (read: hack) for xvt that'll let you do just that. kinda buggy though

Same in XWA, it's just a case of finding the ship roster and chaning a 0 to 1 or a false to a true.

Have any of you ever played the warlords mod for homeworld 2? It puts in like 300 different ships from the Star Wars movies, books, and games. It's almost excessively realistic with every hardpoint on the ships put on to match the movies. Got Alliance, Empire, Clone Wars, and the guy's working on a yuuzhan vong fleet
Yes, the SSD is buildable.
