I will be traveling to the USA in October to see my girlfriend, providing my passport comes through on time. With this in mind I am considering arranging a small DS meet at Busch Gardens, given that I am going to be there on the 18th anyway. Everyone would have to arrange their own transport, entry and accommodation, of course, but it should be a fun day either way.
If anyone can make it, let me know.
P.S. It's also my 30th birthday on October 9th

Well, normally yes - I'm the project manager, so I can set the schedule or tell people to change things or whatever. But this is personal travel: my brother is getting home from Afghanistan about two weeks prior to that and we're having a family reunion of sorts that weekend and going to a Seahawks game (the 'rents are up near Seattle, where we're all meeting). So this isn't anything to do with work and I'm not going to change it -- I'm really looking forward to seeing my brother again and the football game.
So, just bad timing. Have fun without me though, whoever ends up going.

My, I'm rather tempted to go; Busch gardens is pretty fun this time of the year; great food, lotsa drinks(I'm underage :<), and well, its a freaking amusement park. Kings Dominion is a bit farther, but its more or less the same; a bit nicer though.
