Yes it works 95% of the time on Windows 7 Professional x64 (Retail). I say it works 95% of the time because occasionally when I try to start the game it crashes. This seems to happen mostly when I try to launch the game again after I have exited it recently. But other than that it runs perfectly.

Works nicely, however recently it doesn't like to start the client the first time, regardless of compatability.

No problems with it so far.
actually DarkSpace together with ARMA II are the only games that haven't crashed on windows 7 for me..
FC2 HL2 HW2 Fallout 2, Postal 2, Descent 2, Neighbours From Hell 2, etc. have all at least crashed or frozen once...

two months ago i opened a topic about windows 7 in beta. Link. that it how i got DS set up currently..
