I just thought I'd start the suck up post to thank Faustus for the tremendous move he made in making DarkSpace a F2P game.
Many of us have ranted and raved and huffed and puffed over what we think the game should be. Many of us thought that Faustus would ignore the playerbase's opinions until hell froze.
Is Hitler throwing snowballs?

We asked for scenarios to be returned and he did it.

We asked for F2P to help stimulate the playerbase and he has run with the idea.

Many things in these last patches deal with player ideas.

We have to give him a great slap on the back when we think he's on track as well. The rest of the staff too.

Thank you Faustus for making the moves with the game you have recently. Many of us love this game, and want to continue to see it go on. I for one really like where its going atm.

Thank you for listening to some sound suggestions from the community, and acting quickly to implement the ideas.

Most importantly, thank you for not bowing to everything we recklessly request, suggest and demand. Keep up the good judgement.

Thanks again for the effort and work of those staff who have been whipped and chained to complete Faustus' brutal workloads.

My thoughts.

I second these comments. "Grats!" are in order to the staff for really pushing the game forward and releasing alot of great changes over the last few patches.

I signed up for the 2 months reduced price and have not been dissapointed a moment since i've been back (except maybe the day and a half it took to learn all the new things I had missed in 4 years!)

Thank you again for all that you do.

Not to be a downer and all that but uh.. Remember .482 and .483? Yeah, most of what made those completley suck where player ideas.

You know you get my vote Big Guy ... To Faustus if all game developers were to listen to there communitys like you have shown here other games might not fail and fall by the way side other developers take note from Faustus.

My Best Regards to all the Development team on there continual hard work and understanding and listening to the community.

Thanks everyone... but the real credit goes to Doran, Shigernafy, Taelron, Drafell, and all the other devs who I forgot (I Apologize to any devs I missed, I'm just looking at who has been making changes in the SVN log) for their hard work.

With my busy schedule ... nothing would really get done without these guys. I do love this game and enjoy keeping it up and running for all you guys. Please continue to support it via a subscription if you can afford to do so, and I'll keep it up and running.

darkspace is in a sad state. sorry to burst your bubble. nobody is ever on, and if you try to go anywhere, the enemy AI is on you so fast, you can't do anything.

i'm staying unsubbed. darkspace isn't fun yet.
