Tip 1: Refrain from jumping straight through an enemy fleet leading to a critically damaged fleetmate, alerting the enemy and giving away the position of the (presumably) fleeing ship.

Raises Hand.

I guess it was me. Had forgotten what i learned in the Beta and got the whole ICC Fleet killed, because I showed the UTOG where our suppliers were.

Sorry for that. Next time i will act smarter. Learned it the hard way.

I actually survived, but only because I didn't form up with the ICC fleet in time.

There are even funnier things , jump behind a cloaked kluth teammate with a whole ugto fleet in front of him 700 gu away and watch him burn while you laugh hysterically. Or have your ugto teammate /t the position of your burning station to an icc fleet after you did a 40 sec long e jump.

Think Sensitivity was referring to himself.

Here's another pearl of wisdom I learned in my subscription days:

"When you're flying that big, hulky Station, and you jump into battle... don't expect other ships to follow. They've got bigger fish to fry.

Like AI."

It was "All Under Heaven," only thing eve did wrong was follow him zzz.

10/12/09 Tip 2: Adjusting your speed and turn status simultaneously allows to more easily out maneuver enemy pilots.

Tip 3: If you are reading this, then you should probally refer to the manual.

I'm making mental notes of those people owning up to liability.

And then when you least expect it, kapow, Battle station close jump and space bar mash!!!!

But, reminiscing, it was very much a dry humour moment.

On one hand, I had lots of supply ships jumping to me

On the other hand, I had lots of supply ships jumping to me, followed shortly by lots of EMP Dreads jumping to me as well

Next time, I'm jumping at least 200k plus!!!

Funny thing is, Piotr jumped about 2k away from me, trying to force me to waste my jump. I waited, closed the distance and then, when more dreads flooded in and dropped me to 50% hull, I planned myself a reasonable exit strategy and jumped clear.

Oh well!!

However, on a side note, I prefer the old jump method.

IE, to do a proper, plotted jump, you needed to drop to 0 speed before you jumped whilst an E Jump actually served a purpose.

Thats no fair :< I was 2 seconds behind you; I even dived in to those dreads with you ><

Anyways

10/14/09 Tip 3: Sometimes attacking the rear isn't always the best option. It may be the spot where the enemy is most vulnerable, but it is also the easiest position to dodge from.
