I see no reason to change how the cloak and autorepair work. If this had been an actual ship...then cloaking technology and repairing technology would be advanced enough to be performed at same time.
However, in light of this...just like a Jump Drive can be destroyed to the point of being useless for a while, I don't see why a Cloaking device shouldn't also be vulnerable.
I'm now back to flying with FS and we have moved back to ICC.
This means of course, everything I'm saying about Kluth ships will affect my ability to shoot at them.
I don't want to keep weakening some of the interesting points of this game just so I can get easy pres, fight less, and always win.
I keep reading how hard it is to fight kluth. Nonsense. It simply requires getting beyond the mind of a second place loser and engage fighting kluth ships with some intelligence.
Kluth ships cannot fire unless uncloaked.
Their cloaks do not work after energy has been drained.
They often cannot stand toe to toe against the ICC or Ugto ships in a firefight. They'll hurt you, but ICC and Ugto have advantages in shields and armor.
The constant needling and poking about the game's ships is killing the game. Are these ships out of balance? Probably.
But outright changing out certain functions work while being of the opposite faction simply to make it easier to kill them is too self serving for good pilots.
I'm glad I got to play Kluth for a while with a respectable squad no less. I hope to bring that knowledge back into DS by blowing them up with my ICC mates.
