I did it in my spare time with blender, its made completly out of morphed cubes. Not ten minutes after i did this blender closed and i lost all of the data so i decided to post the pictures here. Enjoy!

Well uh.. It's a start. Not a bad one actually.
Add more then just rectangles and cubes and you may have something.

Drive the nose into the ground to deploying Colony Hub.
Still nice idea of a ship. But should try a little bit more corners, bit to square.

I havent quite learned how to add angles yet but im working on it.
I can't do spheres yet because there just so difficult to to move each side and even with sertain aspects of the editor turned on it can become very confusing veryquick.
I have to start over anyways cause the data was lost when blender closed >.> .

Actually, I thought that first too. The front slams into the ground and burries itself deep into the surface. Then the brackets surrounding it explode off, and the metal, which is hinged at a certain point, falls off in each 4 directions. A basic material could be laid out over this and you have a (space-age) tent.
