Since there's FAAAAR too much QQ and not enough PEW PEW, and too much h8 and not enough <3 around here:

This story starts aboard a medical starship. In it, a scottish media technician falls madly in love with a quartermaster from the future. To help out the lovebirds, Post ONLY (upon pain of post deletion) one of the following:
- a Picture of a Giraffe, and a Bizarre And Improbable Giraffe Herding Technique
- a Picture of a facefault AND a picture of a Humongous Mecha.
- a a Picture of something that would be best proceded by the phase "Don't try this at home" and subsequently followed by a Glasses Pull
- You may only enter with one account, and one account only.
- Please use thumbnails if your picture is larger than 500 pixels in any one dimension. See this thread for help posting images if you need it. The image must be veiwable at the time of the drawing to qualify (no broken links).
- If you need help finding a picture, try looking here.
This thread will be open for entries until Sunday, February 14th. At that time the thread will be closed and no more entries will be accepted. Three winners will be chosen shortly thereafter and the result will be posted. The winners will recieve their coupons via private message.
Contestants will have their name placed in a pool, then randomly selected to recieve the coupon.
In the event (unlikely, but possible) that the coupon cannot be redeemed by the winner (such as coupon turns out to be account-locked), other arrangements will be made.

Bizarre And Improbable Giraffe Herding Techniques
Consensus building on a Wiki. The actual techniques are still under development. They are rumored to involve an artful combination of assertiveness, initiative, saying your opinions, sensitivity, empathy, and asking other people their opinions.
In the end, it may be that success comes not so much from trying to herd other giraffes as it does from recognizing one's own giraffeness and learning how to productively compromise with the rest of the herd.
