Ok so, when you get captured, your ship goes AFK from your ship storage for a couple hours, and when it comes back its Faction Invalid!

What Do?

Opps well as it happens i have the exact same problem as meko after i capped meko someone capped me this was hours ago i have logged off since and my bs is still a icc wannabee.

Dunno if it makes any dif but it was destroyed it didnt make it to dock and wasnt recapped.

btw i dont mind waiting untill the server reset tomorrow to see if that fixes it

i havnt doe it myself but one of my fleetmates had the same probs and was able to fly his ead as kluth

That's an odd bug. I haven't seen it myself. His EAD was flagged as Kluth?

Normally when your capped ship is destroyed you get it back. I wonder if something changed recently with capping?

We know of this bug, it's in Mantis, just waiting for a fix on it.

I would have thought so, or you can wait it out - I'm sure Faustus'll fix it soon.

I'd fix it myself but I don't really want to go fiddling with the world storage, as I don't think everyone would be too pleased if ships went disapearing! The best person for the job is F, unfortunately he's a busy man.

I've reported the bug in Mantis as high priority, requiring urgent attention.

If you don't want to wait, post a screenshot of the ship (with enhancements showing), and I'll try and get an admin to refund you the credits.

wouldn't it be alot better to just disable ship capturing untill said bug(s) have been fixed? its causing quite a high amount of grief having your ship permanentally unavailable.

and then theres ofc the select few players who wants to be capped just so they can use their ship on a enemy faction.

which aught to be a ban imho. cause not only is that clearly an exploit, theres not even a shred of logic comming from anywhere to try and weasle out of the accusation that 'thats an exploit'


EDIT: i wouldnt want ship captures to be disabled, just put the bug higher up in the priority queu
