The landing bays make it look a tad like the Sphinx.
Or, you could go with the existing convention for naming the successor to a Guppy and call it the Beluga...

changed doesent equal useful tho
and tbh, i cant see how a cruiser sized carrier will ever become useful.
even the dread carriers are questionable in their usefulness because of the massive amount of PD and stuff ICC sports, and K'luth just have to cloak and its a wasted efford to launch them..
carriers in general needs a massive buff to become viable again, because right now all they are useful for is for the ECCM against K'luth and slightly so against UGTO because they got crappy PD and can't cloak.

fighters are awesome against ICC, it whittles down there shields and all thats left is armor or forces them to get away. I know I hate UGTO fighters, most annoying unit out there.

Fighters are indeed wonderful against ICC, and even some of the larger luth ships that take longer to cloak. I have been subject to ICC fighter and missile spam on more than one occasion; they hurt too.

lol make it for all factions pls cause its just gona be in my garage it will be kinda like a waste of space but it was my 1st cruiser i respect its hull its fighters its weps its pd its sucky armor and its shields and once i finaly settle down in a faction if its not icc il never be able to use it =(

fighters only usefulness is when the enemy planethug. when they stop doing that and start pushing there isnt a fighter swarm in the world that will help.
i to have been on the recieving end of a fighter spamming fleet, both as UGTO and ICC, and while annoying i cant say i concider them a treat.
sure if i just sit there without rotating my armor then obviously i'm gonna end up dying sooner or later.
but more often then not when UGTO starts to fighter spam a ICC fleet all ICC have to do is send forth a few cruisers (or even some daredevil dreads) with pulse shields and most of the fighters wont even get the first shot off, or more frequently, a second. UGTO can't use any tactic other then to suck it up and try to endure. even our escort dessys arent that useful because it still has plain old CL's that take to long to recharge.
fighters and missiles might have a use against unorganised UGTO and ICC fleets that just wont stop planet hugging for one reason or another, but against a fleet with a plan its just not worth taking the ships out of the garage because both K'luth and especially ICC have to much to counter them with.
fighters and missiles works better against UGTO then anything because we dont have pulse waves, pulse beams or cloak to reduce or totally escape the damage with.
and as far as i know even flux wave wont work on fighters. and even if it did it would just add to FF.
and no i'm not saying "nerf ICC" so don't even go there.
all i'm doing is trying to figure out a way to make the carriers less "planet hugging" dependant.

I fighters alignment with the ship was fixed a couple of days ago when the fighters were scaled to the proper scale. They fit in the hanger bay of the carrier cruiser as is just fine, though the cruiser is scheduled for a rescaling up of 10 to 20%.
