-Fixed infamous ARC bug where missiles hitting on the front of a ship would damage the rear.

Does this mean now IT's will damage the actual Ark it hits? i tough that was intentional

Yes, missiles now damage the arc that they hit.

Send thanks and flowers to Faustus.

No.
Not trying to blame Tael, but i have noticed him saying that AR's do more damage. But that was in the past and the value's have changed.

IT's do the most damage on impact.
IT's have the biggest blast damage.
IT's have ~2730 Gu range and move at 70 Gu/s.
AR's have ~1275 Gu range and move at 85 Gu/s.
AR's turn almost two and a half times, faster then a IT.

That is all the info i can give you. and plz don't ask about the K'Luth missiles, i don't know em out of my head.

IIRC, the lore about the IT's hitting the engine trails was created to explain the glitch- kind of like eccm pinging.

Kudos on getting it fixed.

Ion engines.
Ion tracker missiles.
Magically hit the rear armour, even when approaching the target from the front.

Heat-seeking missiles in real-life just aim at hot things, rather than specifically looping around to hit aircraft directly in the engines. I'd assume that IT missiles do the same.

That fix alone should really warrant its own version number.

Yes, but does a heat seeking missle ignore the nose of the craft it had to pass through in order to hit the engine, leaving no damage to the nose, and damaging only the rear. That is what was happening.

All the same, thank you for fixing the BUG that was supposedly unfixxable, thus spurning all of these great attempts at covering up a bad bug with bad fairy tails.
