I think this would be a nice idea, as it is your HUD setup is saved each game session, however you need to reorient it if you log out. I propose that items on the HUD, such as the profile window, or enhancement window, should have their location saved in config.ini so that each time we play it is the same.

Thoughts?

The positions of those windows shouldn't really pester you, for I rarely move them...

Though, if you deem it necessary, then your idea is a nice, nifty and little solution for this 'problem'. After all, how much problem could be in saving the 200ish bytes of info on window sizes and positions?

+1 to Config.ini becoming iConfig.ini

It's not so much a problem, My only issue is that I have to move them constantly

Because all chat overlaps the windows like prestige or enhancements.

Right now the only annoyance is the fact that the chat that regularly appears (and disappears after some time) from the main HUD screen is now set to be ON TOP of all other windows, which means that you need to open and move ALL of your F-key windows halfway across the screen. I run 1950x1080, so not really a huge deal for me... plenty of space. It's a minor annoyance if that, but could be a real pain in the mictah for others with smaller resolutions.

I like this idea, because i keep having to re-adjust the windows when i start playing.
But adding one to the list.

Remember your chat preference after you docked/died.
I always get annoyed that i no longer am yelling after i docked/died, and have to set the preference again.

I'd also like to see the chat disappearing when the F4 chatwindow is open. There's no point in having it continue to show chat while it is open showing chat too..

Disagree. I often scroll back with the F4 window while I'm reading current status updates in the live window.

Yes, I run at 1024x768 windowed and trying to look at F4/F5/F6 is about impossible unless I drag the window way off to the side, otherwise it's covered by text. If it was switched back to how the chat window was before where other windows cover it that would fix it nicely.
