Pretty game-breaking bug, already submitted but Gejaheline requested a thread.

Basically, a bug has surfaced: when ordering any ship to "Attack [Target]", it will show a red line in the navigations map (F2), correct? This line will persist even after the target has eluded all sensors' notice, i.e. it sits in the middle of nowhere, 50,000gu from any sort of planet or player, with a signature of -2.0... and yet the other team can track it without any problem due to the red line persistantly pointing towards the exact location of the fleeing ship.

Result: you can't escape enemies anymore by jumping x distance into space. I've already had to self-destruct because of it, and it's rather annoying. Bug is being actively abused so it'd be nice if this could be resolved quickly.
