Haha, a ship from BFF.
Best Friends Forever ship!
That said, CMs really don't need a perk just for having been the top 12 players right now. Neither do us Marshals.

Why don't you guys give it another try, with Light of Aurora on your side, I bet you can come up with some nice new ships for those ranks.

there should be an ultimate prize on getting cheif marshal. other than bragging rights. the ultimate rank should have the ultimate ship

ok...my turn...new ship for ICC CMs
ship type - Fleet Command Dreadnought- prototype - saber class
Command rank required- Chief Marshall with ALL platinum badges
ship armament
2 full arc hvy chemical lasers
6 fore/left/right hvy chemical lasers
4 fore/left/right chemical lasers
3 full arc pulse beams
3 aft chemical beams
6 fore/left/right arc hvy railguns
6 fore/left/right fusion topedoes
4 aft sabot rockets
4 fore/left/right ion cannons
3 SSR fighters
6 F29 fighters
armor
2 fore/left/right arc active shielding
3 full arc active sheilding
1 full arc "eclipse" armor plating - prototype (see note 1 on armor plating)
engineering
3 auxillary power generators
2 cold fusion engines (see note 2 on engine capabilities)
(max speed 10 gu)
1 tachyon jump drive
2 eccm
1 pulse shield
6 cargo holds (for cargo or 6 platoons of infantry)
note 1 Eclipse armor plating
Eclipse armor plating was derived from reverse engineering of UGTO's ablative and refractive armor.Rather than shedding to absorb impact of projectile weaponry.Eclipse armor is comprised of standard armor with weaves of shielding at the microscopic level that absorbs and wraps around projectile type weaponry to contain damage in a small specific area of impact reducing damage by 15%.Approximately20% of beam damage taken is absorbed and converted to kinetic energy which is then reflected back into space.
Note 2 Cold Fusion engines
A new prototype engine that produces no heat (which reduces the weighty exhaust shielding normaly required on ships) allows for more defensive and offensive capabilites to be implemented. The cold fusion engine produces approximately 20% more power than standard IE engine. The only issue with the cold fusion engines is that upon implosion they produce excessive amount of damage to the surrounding area (approximately 125 GUs) thereby incinerating any ICC ship destroyer class or lower in said area.
granted Devs would have to work in the armor but hey...even using conventional armor it would still be awesome.

so it just came to me... a special "power" they get to pick and give it a long charge time(30 min - 1 hour), idk maybe it would work on certian ships.
K'luth get a ecm/eccm neutralizer making their sig's zero or somthing that makes their armor/hull repair 2x for a limited time in a certian rang.
ICC get something to boost shield recovery or somthing that recharges allies energy within range.
Ugto get an armor hardener or something else idk yet.
the values and stuff would need to be thoroughly tested to make sure it doesnt screw with the balance, but i think giving them a cool power would be interesting rather than just going with some bigger badder ship. Something that could turn the tide of battle but wouldnt just be used on a whim. Good, bad, awful idea??

All I hear is teardrops. My solution (which I posted eons ago) was move stations up to Marshal and sub in a couple new dreads so the FA and GA ranks can have something special to play with ala Krill level ships.
But then again that will not work because of people getting chaffed because they would not have stations.
