Me and some other fellow ICC players have been complaining about how bright the nebula at Luyten is. Its bad enough that there's a binary star system there, but add a light reddish tone to the surrounding and it gets about 4x brighter than it would normally get.
I myself am complaining about it because my eyes are really sensitive to really bright things (yes a total blank white screen would give me the worst headache), and I enjoy playing DarkSpace and playing as ICC, but since we mostly are at Mycopia we have to stare at this bright place for like 3-4 hours.
My suggestion is if you can't remove the Luyten Mist, at least tone it down a bit. Like I said before I'm not the only one complaining about this, but please do something about it.

+1, Luytens Mist is too shiny, this is not dark space.
hopefully ICC will leave the sector, retreat or advance.

And i quote "- A recently detected coronal mass ejection from Luyten 726-8 A triggered a complimentary burst from Luyten 726-8 B. The Luyten Mist occluded the bulk of the resulting ions, shifting the emissions spectra of the nebula slightly and thereby reducing its reflectivity and brightness"
