If you look closely at the right side of the first picture you can see what looks like a fourth chair. So even less trek-like.

WTB David Hewlett back permanently. He was awesome at his role in SG1 and SGA.
Though his character probably wouldn't fit well in SGU.
Richard tried Jack O'Neil's humour in SGU. Felt... out of place.

I did read that about mid-season we were going to hear more about Atlantis and whats happened to it since it landed on Earth, as well as see a bit of some of the cast, but this is news to me.
I'm not sure if Hewlett will really fit into the SGU feel very well. And I really don't want SGU to turn out much like SG1 & SGA, even though i did really like them both.
Hopefully they don't over do the whole SGU -> SGA thing and they still keep SGU mostly seperate from the other series.

I agree, I actually didn't read them, but was surprised because I did notice a few things when I was editing, (hard not to) But I myself will wait (at least until after the first episode and anxiety sets in) before reading the stories.
PS: They aren't too long and don't give up too much information, it's probably like watching a preview of "next week's episode" They would never give away too much before the season even launches.

According to David Hewlett, David Blue and the gang, Hewlett has been making a few appearances in a few episodes, (maybe he's going to have a bit of a role?) Also Robert Picardo makes a bit of an appearance as well, which makes me wonder what the hell Woolsey's doing there!

I got the feeling they are writing him as a sort of "I'm getting too old for this crap" kind of role.

I couldn't take it anymore, and I read the stories. WOW we have some awesome stuff to come just in the first 3 episodes of the season.. This is going to be epic. I CANT WAIT!

They did leave us really hanging at the end of season 1, which I found to be like a giant slap in the face. But not a real bad one. (It only stung for a second)
I'm still undecided if Young is actually looking at something in the last few seconds of the final episode or is he is just looking somewhere else...

He was looking at the lights! Remember at the final moment the lights went out from another gamma ray burst (I think this is an oppertunity he was looking for, to attack)

ok i saw this in the trailer and am really wondering what it is. It only showed for half a second, but I found this screenshot on gateworld. They are at the observation deck, and something HUGE seems to be outside the window. I have no idea what to think about this. any opinions?
