So then, because I am in a good mood, and Drafell is in a good mood, and everyone is in a good mood, I am going to share some wealth to commemorate it. Somehow.

But Bardiekins, how does we shot this competition, I hear you ask. Well then, buckle down and listen well, 'cause I'm only gonna say it once!
(but you can reread it as much as you want)

From now until next monday, you have a grand opportunity to win 5,000 credits! And all you need to do, very simply, very obviously, is this:

Please post a screenshot of what you consider to be the "ideal" planet.

Naturally, planets from within the DarkSpace game. The best planet wins you 5,000 credits. You can screenshot from whichever server you want and whichever team you want, but remember that I am very subjective so I'll pick based on what I think is indeed the best planet.

Yes, I mean planet builds, infantry locations, etcetera. You don't need to motivate your choice but it'd help in convincing me.

8D Closes monday and I'll award the prize then, so hey.

Only one winner is possible. In the case of duplicate entries, the first entry will be selected. I reserve the right to change rules as necessary.

This is, without a doubt, the best planet suitable for habitation, on top of that, it has a great population.

The population will never want for anything with all those Transports constantly bringing in cargo.

... =( So, what, my choices are between joke entries? Well, I guess since no one else entered, I'll have to pick one of those. Lemme ponder a while which is the least wo-- best and I'll get back on that later today!

No more entries will be accepted. (lol)

Planets are boring Bard.

You should have asked for the best Epic Battle pics.

Ok i agree my first one was a joke entree from when i graduated from [GDI] building academy.
The second planet has ships in orbit with ship to ship tractor beam visible so might not use that. since we are no longer able to do that.
The third one is really from three days ago, and is a darn lovely looking planet.

But your request was kind of vague to. i mean what is the "Ideal planet"..
Do you mean structure build, either a structures smiley or just a good build, nicest texture, funniest name, awsome location, etc.?

I'd have gone into Cass and rebuilt one of the half-dead planets and posted a screenshot of that, but I can't run DS until I get my new video card since the fan on this one is dead. It overheats and my system shuts down if I do much of anything besides forum browsing/email.

Kenny: Epic Battles are boring, planets are sublime.

Eledore: I was intentionally vague so people could be creative. Someone could post a full sensor planet and call it ideal because "It'd scare off K'Luth!" Or build 21 depots and be all "Yyyyyyyyyeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!" or a beautiful mining planet, or an empty planet devoid of much, or a rock in a cluster, or Fargo Rock's delicious texture...

GOM: S'cools.

SO, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO. Both Eledore and Fridge got the most presentable planets. Respectively, Eledore's last image (that's beautiful man) and Fridge's ":3 Demaret" pictures. Both earn 2,500 credits to be received whenever they catch me online, or whenever I happen to find THEM on, whichever happens sooner.

Thanks for the entries, those who entered. :V
