Favorite moment in my Darkspace history:
I remember, when I was VA on my old account, modding an ICC Missile Dread with full fusion torpedos on the front and proceeding to face jump Uggie stations 
Coolest thing I've ever seen in Darkspace:
Back in about.. late 2004 or 2005 i believe (when i first started playing the game i was a UGTO pilot for a while).. i fought a futile fight against a massive armada of K'Luth in defense of Earth and the Sol system. Lots of promising pilots and heroes showed up to save the day but in the end.. Earth was surrounded by about 4 or 5 K'Luth Stations and we lost a lot of pretty Earth womens that day... LOL.
Other moments of coolness:
* Watching BackslashJack blow K'luthies into oblivion.
* Sitting in a Escort dessie 2k GU away and nuking down stations with Pcannons
* UGTO hunting with Doran and a few others in AC's and HC's
* My duel with PB-Darksworde.. my modded HC vs his Siphon.. close match but I ultimately lost.
* Me and BlackFlash (friend IRL) Roaming ICC space and nuking planets in seconds with Agincourt Carriers. LOL
I miss... Fleetwide planetary conquests and grouping (used to be called Fleets but not to be confused with the Fleet/Clan system) would give TONS of prestige by following orders given down by the higher rankers.

A few months back it was a boring few hours, so i decied to make a WH near michelle and WH a friendly dread (I think it was Fallen Wing?) into the middle of nowhere. I WH'd him out, along with another player who happened to be too close to him in a supply ship. The WH'ing them out there worked fine, but the WH'ing back... well, that didn't turn out so well. First the player in the supply ship came thou without a problem. Then the dread tried to follow. Even thou he came out of the WH facing away from the planet, the back of his dread still managed to hit michelle. The next thing I knew, there was no more dread... or supply... just me laughing until I cried

Boobytrapping the other side of the jump gate with a group of 3 scarabs, all nodded with 8 x AWMs, while the enemy was engaging Kluth dreads on their side of the gate.
It's a beautiful thing to watch as dreads and stations trying to escape by jumping thru the gate get insta-gibbed the moment they came through.
We killed 3 stations and 4 dreads in that 10 minutes. Beautiful!
Massively mining the path between a Michelle n Zoca on the old Sag map. Zoca was lightly defended n 3 UGTO dreads decided to take a swing at it. 2 out of 3 arrived at Zoca hulled, and were promptly cleaned up by the 2 Siphons lying in wait.

Greatest Moment I had...
I survived 3 UGTO Dreadnoughts attacking me and managed to destroy one of them that was trying to go in for the kill. Thanks to Depot Planet and Platforms, I survived with 7% hull and 0% shielding. After that, the depots overwhelmed the firing while I tore up the second one, causing it to warp out of the system and the third one followed his teammate. Because of this, I managed to defend the UGTO while backup arrived 2 minutes later after this happened.
Worst Moment I had...
While participating in a assault, my whole fleet leaped out just as a dico field popped up from the K'luth popped up, leaving me strained while UGTO bombarded me from afar with missiles and K'luth shred with me their lasers from upclose.

I tht the worst moment you had was when you were ganked by a Kluth while AFK. Following that you were whinging about how we had no honor, and that we should have left you unmolested because you were AFK..... shortly before everyone else laughed at you for being noobishly idealistic. AFK in MV = dead.

Greatist moment i have ever had was me and.....uh a K'luth where missle spamming uggie stations with ganglias then we got a great idea! i woudl get a scareb witch had x8 AWM and mining the path to the station and back to the ganglia and when the station jumped the ganglia INSTA 50 hull lol i gained 5k pres that day eventually the uggies caught on and.... didnt jump us no moar lol
