Not sure if I've been unclear or if people just dislike the idea. So, one more try!

With this concept in place, if you're in a destroyer and you pound on a dread you'll get more ships damaged per point of damage then if you were in a station hitting the same dread.

That's as clear as I can make it, and if it still doesn't work, se la vie.

so we get 1 day admirals?
ill just get my scout and pound that dread to death eventually and make 1k pres.

Queue horrible design nightmare in 3... 2...

This is definitely a no-go. We already have negative scaling (less prestige for killing a smaller ship), but positive scaling is a definite no-go.

Negative scaling is a good thing methinks. As for the rest...hey, ideas exist to be shot down.

Mebbe we should have positive scaling for pres loss. LOL.

ie. If you get killed by an equivalent or heavier class or ship, pres loss is normal. If you get pwned by a smaller ship, you lose more pres.
