Been having problems with lagg for a month or so. Did all i could to resolve the problem but nothing worked. Now for the good news. It ended up being nortons antivirus spy wear bla bla bla nortons junk. So now i lagg verry lil by getting rid of nortons. Wanted to thank everyone that has tried to hlp me in the past tyvm. So if u r haveing the same type problem especialy if u use nortons try a diffeerent fire wall/virus protection stuff .
P.S &yes my cpu still needs upgrading. lol

Your anti-virus was slowing down your internet and therefore your connection to DS? Interesting...

Is it possible that an anti-virus could have trouble with the amount of packets being sent and as a result slowing everthing down? Or stopping packets that are a "threat"?

Now, is this possible, or just a coincidence?

Or was it the kind of scanner that looks at data being written to HDD?

Mine does that. I leave it on, and even newer games perform fine, but DS seems to be a little choppy still. Oh well .
