Game takes to long to load ? |

Ok I'm just downloaded the game..
Got the patches inside this browser..
Started the game but..
Stuck in loading screen for about 10 mins.. which it says 'Loading Object'
And then now stuck on 'PALESTAR' forever..
Anyone can help ?

AFAIK, once your machine starts loading objects, that means it's connected. Still, it could be a firewall problem.
If it's hanging on loading objects, one of your files may be corrupt, I'd try a reinstall.
Someone with more knowledge can give you better tips though.

In Server tab, select the destined server and click Connect again.
Or, alt+ctrl+del and stop DS. Close GCQL. Reopen and reconnect.

First time you load DarkSpace it will take longer..correct?
After that it will be fine unless its a connection issue that is causing the delay.

buy a better pc ... on my old one it takes 5-10min as well but once i got a new one it takes less then 30s

yes, me too, it take 2 mins for connect, it's your graphic cards the problem.
With an other computer, i have the same CPU, but not the same graphic card, with the old, it take 2 mins, with the new, 10 secs ...
bye more RAM too, it play an important job... i have 500 MB, that's too bad, my second comouter have 2GB...

fyi dont download the patchs from the browser just hit launch in the servers tab and it will patch it unless thats what your talking about
and you must have a pretty slow computer b'cause i have 512 megs a ram on mine and a 95mb graphics card LOL and a p4 proccesor im getting 2 gigs of ram 2day and a 512mb graphics card so ill be set and ur files might be corrupted two.

Ok the is a common occurence.
All you need to do is go to Launch then Darkspace Setup and load that first. otherwise it will get stuck at loading objects. Also if the server is down (scenario server only ((Kraken)) you will also get stuck at that screen so do the following.
If you still have the loading screen window open close it with either ALT+F4 while in that window or with CTRL+ALT+DEL and accessing Task Manager and hitting end task with Darkspace Client selected.
Then make sure you can connect and run the Metaverse server (Orion).
