i dont know if i get this right. whre will be MI an gafiens trying to kill us defending the sun while we fight trou them to crash into the sun? or we just get there and slowly boat into great ball of fire? an AIs crach with us too?

Generally, all those who wish to (no pressure) jump into the R33 star. If mods/admins want to have some fun, they can spawn various creatures to eat up whomever's left.

Unfortunately I have another name to add to the memorial, a close mate of 16 years who used to play Dark Space back in 2005 as 'Stormer' just passed away an hour ago.
Not sure if I can be there for the memorial but would like him to be mentioned.

Sop I have never really interacted with you in game or otherwise, for you to step up and offer this is a big deal to me, thankyou. :')
I checked my calendar - I will be 1km underground and thus unable to participate at the memoriaL (My thoughts will be there). I was flown out early due to his death so there is not much leverage I will have on the day (being 2 weeks away) to request time to attend what most would call just a computer game ....... ?

My condolences Sauur.
It's hard to lose a long time friend.
One of mine got killed in a motorcycle accident not too long back.
Makes you reflect on your own mortality.

As an ICC Admiral I have to say that after the memorial, that I'll try to rally my fellow ICC officer's for mass take over. I never got to meet R33, But I feel he would have been a good friend. To the GTN, sorry for your loss and for your friend. Im case I'm no there for some reason. I salute Mr. R33.

I'm looking forward to the memorial. And would encourage and remind all the new players who have never attended the memorial that this isn't about factions and fighting, but remembering all the players Darkspace has lost over the years. It's not just for GTN or just for Paul. It's for everyone.
