Intructions
1. This test comprises of 45 questions, divided into 3 levels - Lieutenant (1 mark), Captain (2 marks) and Admiral (3 marks).
2. Your assessment will be done based on the total marks obtained by you, on a total of 90.
3. This test has questions pertaining to facts and statistics of space ships, utility devices, planetary governance and various weapons. Questions about historical people and events are also present.
4. This exam has an allotted time of 4 hours. The invigilator will collect your answer sheet when the allotted time is over.
5. Cadets found using electronic gadgets, possessing books, notebooks or papers of any sort, or otherwise using unfair means to score in the examination are liable to be detained in the Academy.
Section 1 - Lieutenant

Q11. How many AR missiles can be carried by a standard Battle Cruiser?
Q12. Name the Confederate officer whose primary ship is a heavy cruiser.
Q13. How much prestige required to gain the rank 'Lieutenant Commander?

Q31. Who are the 'Kraddax'? Name their largest space station.
This question needs rephrasing. The first part is relatively easy, although it should be correctly asked as "What is the "Kraddax?"
The second part is a lot more tricky. So far as I am aware, I am the only person in DS who could truely answer this question as it stands. Why? Because I have never released this information outside of my notes.
Q40. Which 'kraddax' ship is capable of cloaking?
Needs rephrasing with reference to the above statement. You are using "Kraddax" in the improper context.
Good attempt at a quiz though. Feel free to forum PM me if you need assistance in clearing up the ambiguities I mentioned.

A11. 2 dual launchersx35 ARs=140 missiles.
A12. Gerlach (Sheng uses AD, Gerlach is mostly in his modded HC).
A13. 320 prestige.
A14. 640 gu.
A15. ICC Assault Dreadnought (if you noticed, it has 2 fighter bays).
Section 2 - Captain
A16. PB - "All your base are belong to us". This motto shows the strength to have undisputed command all planets, allied or not.
GTN - "Honor is all". This motto refers to their strive to live by the Code of Honour, and that an honourable defeat is better than a deceitful victory.
A17. 30 seconds.
A18. Food shortage is a condition of a planet when the food being produced is not sufficient for the people living there. Worker strike refers to a movement against the ruling government when the people refuse to work, thus decreasing production.
A19. Planetary Siege Missile (about 10 gu/s faster).
A20. Coombie is a legendary Chief Marshal of the Pitch Black. He had absolute impunity over others in terms of fame and prestige for many years, which was recently overcome by others.
A21. Siphon. It does not require ECCM to locate stealth craft, because it was designed to use stealth for assaulting enemies.
A22. 12% (1x2 + 5x2).
A23. ST-101 Carrier Dreadnought (6 missile launchers, scanner and 2 sensor equipment, and a decent cannon armament. Very multipurpose).
A24. 12 cannons + 2 QSTs + 2 missiles=16.
A25. Flipasaurus Wench is a Rear admiral of the Space Warriors fleet. She is the manager of the largest chain of space diners and a great artist.
A26. 6 limbs (but do you care to read the historical documents?)
A27. 850 resource units. 18 minutes.
A28. Scarab (5 cannons, 3 torpedoes and 6 beams).
A29. Azreal is a Chief Marshal of the Wolf fleet. His callsign is not Azrael because it causes unsolved data corruption problems with the Confederate databases (noone was expected to give the answer to the second part ).
A30. Scale has many torpedoes and disruptors, giving it a good punch against dreadnoughts and stations. It also has a pair of dual missile launchers for slow ships at range. It has only 2 cannons, which are not useful in combat. It's energy management is difficult and it cannot damage destroyers and frigates effectively. It has only 7 armor plates, making its defensive strength low.
Section 3 - Admiral
A31. 'Kraddax' is the K'Luth word for Machine Intelligence. Their largest space station is called the Nexus 14.
A32. A population with low morale needs to be given the illusion of safety, by not letting enemy ships go near the planet. They also need to be kept free of any degenerative factors like food shortage or plagues.
A33. Steveyk is a Chief Marshal of the RSM. The motto of his fleet "We Help, We Command and most importantly we have fun", which refers to their careless nature of commanding ships.
A34. Line station (pulse shield, 4 fighters, sensor equipment and missiles).
A35. (3x4x60=720 seconds)/360=2 revolutions or 2 days.
A36. Shredder missiles are short-ranged K'Luth missiles that are hard to detect, and are very fast. They are different from the seemingly equivalent human AR missiles because they are launched in pairs, and their individual damage is low.
A37. Ultimate worker (3 sensor devices).
A38. Nexus 14 of the MI N-14 fleet (uber event account).
A39. 2 ion cannons, 2 QSTs, 3 Squid fighters, 2 PCMs, 3 AR mk2 missiles, 4 HCLs, 8 CLs.
A40. MI Praetorian cruiser.
A41. Josef was a moderator and a notorious admiral of the UGTO. His scout was retrofitted with a tractor beam which could be used for moving ships around.
A42. Siphon (208 torpedoes compared to 168 of Mandible).
A43. Ganglia has 4 heavy cannons and 3 regular cannons, which have a good all-round coverage of the ship. It has 9 regular and 6 heavy missile launchers on the fore, and 2 regular launchers on the rear for good missile coverage aswell. It has a decent beam armament, and a heavy beam for damaging enemies at close range. It also has 3 fighter bays for additional damage to enemies.
It's property of all-round coverage means it cannot focus its maximum damage potential on a single target.
A44. 8 fighters x 5 fighters x 3 bombs per fighter=120 bombs (k'luth fighters have more bombs).
A45. Stationspam refers to the reckless usage of stations by fleet admirals in an attempt to show strong resilience, and to psychologically scare enemies into retreat.
Took almost 3 hours to prepare....enjoy.
