Okay so all of a sudden my arrow keys no longer steer, when I press 'A' my ship continuously rotates left and the heading meter on my hud has gone mad altogether and won't keep still.

any ideas?

i've tried restarting gcql and checked my task master but cant find anything unusual.

Gotta watch out those settings you mess with in DarkSpace Setup... Or watch the keys you press in-game... ALT+Y (as Jack said) or ticking "Yaw Control" in the options tab of DarkSpace Setup will fix this issue.

Yes, pretting ALT + Y toggles between the control system we all know and love, and a control system that uses the A and D keys to set a direction you want the ship to fly in, rather than setting the speed at which you turn.

Best used with the turning assistance switched on, and best used on larger, slower ships.

I've lost helm control. I was in a battle with a group of UGTO battle cruisers and my jump drive jumped me 300 gu from the battle and started flying my toward the Tau sun, Then it stoped and the helm jumped me into Fargo. I could not stop it or sd. The few players on tryed to help but it failed. Wish we could fix this. Also wish we had tractor beam.
