Did you ever had this problem too?
Now and then i suddenly jump my target accidently while i am typing to chat.
I dont even have to type "J" and i am not touching the mouse, still i jump into death, it happens more often if i try to write fast, it seemed.
Thx for help.
(I am using a usb mouse and a ps keyboard)

IT Happen To Me Today  Really Anoying Is The Second Time, I Was Typing And The Ship Sudenly Jumped.

Hasn't happened to me yet.
But in return i do give you a known chatbug..
The last key used in your conversation might be pressed by the game.
for example i have a habit of ending my conversations with a 
P toggles ECCM (of Planet icons inside Nav screen).
I will see if i can reproduce your bug and if i can reproduce will tell our programmers about it.

This reminds me of an amusing instance where someone ended a sentence with a T, launching a hapless scout into a planet with their tractor beam.
Not sure why this should happen mid-sentence, though; Not had it happen to me personally but I'll keep an eye out.

Never had this problem myself. Most likely do to my attempts at using good grammar, I always tend to end my sentences with punctuation.
