AHR repairs armour when hull is damaged. This is halfway between a bug and a feature.

depo planets are bullsnot.
please tell me there is a fix comming soon. Back in 2009 even this type of depo hugging bullcrap didnt happen.
The game wass 9000x better back then. Death is already meaningless (nearly). We dont need an armada of immortal ships to go witht that. Look at ugto space (and i can hardly blame them cus it works so well) over 70% depo planets

And you are sure of that?
I don't think so, because from my observation... When armor takes a hit, it repairs on its own regardless of hull.

Hit the main depo while having about 2 people take the others...
If they aren't in the same cluster it's really easy to capture them.

Take out the power and food. That should end the depot planet. Do it while your fleet is keeping them occupied.
Don't forget to disable the SY too.

what geja is saying is ahr is basically a reload drone that activates on hull damage.
as a side effect it repairs stuff like a reload drone.
so thats why when ever you deal hull damage to kluth hives it becomes a pain in the behind to kill them by your self.
and i agree that station isn't exactly the right term for them they would be far more accurete being called baseships.
as they are in theory mobile bases. [ This Message was edited by: jamesbob on 2011-04-18 07:00 ]

All armor with the exception of ablative repairs itself.
The AHR gadget Boosts the repair of organic armor.
Those are from my observations tho.

Yes, I am 100% sure that AHR, when active (i.e. hull has taken damage) will also repair armour. The armour also repairs itself on its own, just like every other armour type in the game (except for ablative).
As for the depot planet thing, I believe there's a fix in the pipe but it needs Faustus to okay it or something, don't quote me on that. It's being looked at, though.
