Why? the Long Head, never attack the Kluth space?

I have 420 games played, and I never saw a ship "Mi" in epsilon eri.

They only attack Cincinnati, Luyten and Tau Ceti

Can someone explain why is that?.

For any kluth, sure is a dumb question.

You not have continuosly rebuilding your planets while a group of cloackeds ships attacking.

Your planets are safe, while the programmers protect your as....

it's because of an autopilot bug along the kaus-tau/tau-kaus-route which causes ships to fly through luyten and cincinatti to tau.

kaus borealis->cincinatti->luyten->tau ceti->epilon eri

any MI ship that wasn't shot down in cincinatti or luyten will be shot down in tau ceti. that way they will never reach epsilon eri

One would have to wounder why they only have one static route.

they already showed K'luth what happens when u put your home planet in our space, soo they dont have the time to prove them wrong again

maybe they have more than one route, but due to that autopilot bug I mentioned earlier, all of them would lead to cincinatti first.

but what if they were always trying to get into K'Luth space?

shortest way from kaus to eri is - of course - kaus borealis->tau ceti->epsilon eri.

so the AI plots the course through tau; but due to the autopilot bug, they are rerouted through cincinatti and luyten. but they don't go from luyten to eri directly, because the AI 'thinks' they're flying the kaus->tau->eri-route

I hope everyone understands what I mean :/

What all say, is what happen.

But my question is, why happen

Is a program bug ?
(other case as the wormhole bug, wich not work 5 of each 10 times)
--------------------------
The longhead use allways the same route, but when there are more than one shipyard active, they go and attack.

Why not attack the kluth shipyard at the same way.

This situation is an real disbalance, of the "balanced forces" in the game.
--------------------------

I propose:

1 - Delete gate Procyon - Kaus
2 - Put a gate : Procyon - Luyten
3 - Put a gate : Kau - Luyten
4 - Move the Luyten System - to the middle of a pentagon formed by Kaus - Cincinnati - R33 - Epsilon Eri - Tau Ceti. approximately at the same distance from all.
--------------------------
Of this way, all can attack in various ways and improve the balanced of forces.
If "Mi" can acces to all faction, and not only a two, the balanced will be secure.

i dunno rebuilding planets isn't a bad thing. gives you something to do other then mashing your space bar.

One wonders what the MI are even doing "transiting through" this part of space.

The MIs come out of Procyon. So where are they headed?
Lacerta? Cassiopeia? RR? Sirius?

Why is it a dumb question?

The serious answers to P2s MI question are interresting.

I have a "dumb" question too:

Why is Tau Ceti flooded with Kluth AI? There are zounds more then Ugto AI ever are, no matter how much Kluth players or ICC are on. Many Kluth AI come from Kaus Borealis and they capture planets even without Kluth players using or controling them.
It is not a big deal and it is kind of fun to fix MI- and Kluth- destroyed planets, but it happens so much, everytime i log in it is like: "Ok welcome back to the office, we will need some time fixing our system again..and again..and again."
If ICC had the numbers, these problems would be solved by themselves, (Somebody will fix it and you wont even notice, or the ai was intercepted by plats and players here and there.)

I am not the only one complaining about this Kluth AI flood every day, if you kill an AI Mandie for example, 30 seconds later a new one will apear.

-Sorry for hi-jacking your thread P2, but i thought this MI with that AI issue would fit in well here.-
