There is not much motivation in gaining prestige for many of us, beside ranking up in the "Hall of Fame", the "Ranking Roster" or the "Highscore List" , however you want to call it.

I would be suprised if i was the first coming up with this idea:
Sacrifice Prestige for Credits.
It should be very expensive, maybe 100k prestige for 10k Credits.

Problems (maybe):

-The Stats wont tell the "truth" anymore, but a new value could be invented in the ranking stats like: "Ammount of Prestige traded for Credits", to solve this little problem.

-Buying Credits seems to be the only way Palestar gets money, so this could be a boomerang, i just dont know how much money this is and how much Darkspace is in need of these suscribes. I know money is a sensitive issue so please dont be upset.

2nd suggestion:

I think Credits are too expensive, i would be much more willing to buy them if i would get a 100k Credits for 50$, instead of 50k Credits.

Erm.

Credits bring money to the game. So I don't think that would be very viable. Not in Devs' view anyway.

Simply put, high ranking players wouldn't need to buy creds anymore. They trade pres for creds and buy all the enh they need.

Always is good play for free, but....

We must understand :

- play for free is the death of game.
- recently that it is free.
- the only gain of "Palestar", for this game, are credits we buy.

Summarizing :

- the game depends on us.
- in the same way to raise money for any purpose, we must raise money to buy credits.
- is the only way to make the game still exists.

Apologize :

- I do not know the economic situation of different countries, or the people.
- In my country, in not easy, expenses other than those necessary for life.
- However, i only need save up 0.70 cents per day for buy 21k credits each month.

Compare for my country :

- Box of cigarets : 1,70 dolar.
- Gallon of gasoline : 4,76 dolar.
- Kilogram of bread : 2,00 dolar.
- Big Mac : 3,64 dolar.

To finish :

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE ..... this game, and make an effort for help the community, making your job part in your home.

As allways i use the google translator to help me, i hope will be understand.

Thats a good point Borgie, you convinced me and i will start buying as soon as my credits are gone. So please kill me even faster, it is for the greater all! ;D

But still to the 2nd point: Maybe if credits were cheaper more money would be spent overall?

Palestar should engage an expertise agent for some 10k$ to find it out... just kidding, prolly the staff already calculated it through, which prize is the best, fair and econimcal reasonable.

Yay *looking forward to fly a powerfull battery AD again*, i know: a deffed AD is prolly better, but i love these enches which give you energy AND beampower.

We'll be adding more stuff for credits at some point, so you can all waste them in new ways! However, as others have stated, we rely on credits being purchased to run the game, and as such, we will not allow any action in or out of the game to grant you credits bar purchasing them.

you mean some enterprising person couldn't trade "favors" for credits?

Well, since there aren't any limitations on what you do with credits after you've bought them, feel free to give them to other people for stuff (as long as it's within the bounds of the RoC). Unless you mean doing favours for Palestar, in which case I'm rather less certain.

Nice.
But something like Beam Cooler, Weapon Rack/Cooler is not interesting.
In my opinion, enhancement for sell should be a bit to enhancement earnt by killing in game.
Enhancement dropped in game should contain 1 factor and increase 6% at max. Ig: Advanced Weapon Accelerator 6%
Enhancement bought in shop should contain 2 factor and increase 4% at max. Ig: Advanced Engine Improvement 4% velocity 4% thrust.
It's a bit boring that what we can buy is also similar in game.

I told you already, I can't pay you in credits for that anymore.

So what happened to being able to buy more garage/enh slots for credits? That would probably be one of the biggest sellers given how many people have been asking for them.

You need to slay 1000 Gaifen first to get an Adult Wallet, which you can use to purchase a filleting knife to flay your gaifen, which you can then craft into a belt pouch, which will allow you to hold extra enhancements.

We haven't introduced a Backpack yet, but that will eventually let you hold five more slots for your skills, crew and enchantments!

Yeah I want that T-shirt too.

I killed a couple of Longheads the other day, and all I got for that was a stupid T-shirt that said "Coffee, Tea, or Mi?"
