ill put this up again becouse i never got any solid answers.
Currently its impossible to remove enh from a ship withoug paying. This is bad, because some ships i upgrade as i go, Ie change standard for advanced, Range for damage, Speed for turning. Ext. Now i will have to just strap a whole ship and its enh and start over.
unless there is some way to scrap enh in 1.67 that i dont know about.

You were not able to remove Enahncements before. This feature is purely for those that perhaps accidentally placed an Enhancement on that ship, or changed their mind after a short while.
They are not designed to be removed full stop, and the current system in beta will not be changed.

I think he means previously being able to remove an enh from your ship by clicking it in the F7 window which deleted it completely.

yea, Some of us still just equip what we find. When i find better stuff, i want to equip it over what i have. Or equip different stuff all together. Currently in 1.67 thats impossible without having credits to do so.

Test with Ganglia vs EAD without PD. Result: Shroud FTW.
First, using psionic guarantees you're out of energy after 7 alpha - even no moving, no ECM. I don't think this is such a good exchange for medium-high damage and no ammo. With a worker, Shourd is infinite ammo as well as Psionic. But you're going to do MORE damage with shroud than psionic because you can do more alpha, assuming having equal long tick of time in both case.
Second, shroud high negative signature increases the chance to hit the big ship.
I don't think no ammo is that big advantage. No ammo just means you don't need worker help, but you still have to wait for energy regen. This is silly as missle spamming ship must take max advantage of the safety time before it's jumped.
I suggest:
- Psionic: medium-high energy drain; medium-low damage; no ammo usage.
- Shroud: medium energy drain; medium-high damage; uses ammo; low negative signature.
Btw, new missles still disappears during the flight.

Yes, I believe this has been covered in chat; the "destroy enhancement" button vanishing in beta is an oversight rather than an intentional change.

So there will be a "Destroy Enh" as well as a "Detach enh" function in the end, right?
