stations are immobile. only way of movement is jd or wh. since its immobile, cant go trough wh by itself. if would require engy or suppy with tractor beam to push it trough.. since its a STATion (somehow referes to stationary - makes more sense) and is somekind of base. now stations are used as super ships, even we say its a station... and using station spam tactic is OP and unfair. so why not add some more "cost" to station spamming...like making them immobile and if they want to be used in offensive purposes, they would need engry or suppy to move them, thus having at least that weak spot.

Stations will move at 3.3gu/s next patch. That's not enough for you?

The only thing I want next is for all stations to have their HMA removed in favor of WHs. Either that, or make HMA exit points more inaccurate.

When their jump destination becomes inaccurate, that makes them ill-suited for use as planetary assault tanks. They can't just pinpoint jump into a fight and dominate

(this goes especially for shrooms )

Unfortunatly that gives shrooms a major problem: How the hell do they dock with an innacurate HMA and 3.3gu speed? (This is proly the main reason I don't use a wh drive on stations)

not ujst UGTO, would affect ALL stations. Which i am fine with. Would planning and a spread of ships important other than just spam the largest ships possible

Well, they'll just have to jump as near as they can and then slowboat it to the planet, don't they. Hopefully with a dread escort if they're low on hull.

Can't handle it? Then drive a dread, not a station.

In a game with a huge player base swarming with small ships is a viable tactic.

In a game where 30 players on at once is a rarity, every number counts and big ships are more efficient here in smaller numbers.

This, one billion times this.

Want to encourage people to use smaller ships more? Give ships smaller than Dreadnoughts an extra 5 speed. Flying a Scout that can go 57 speed with engine enh would be fun.

I going to use an ICC frigate and attack red stations under ECM. Prestige is very delicious!
Seriously, station shall be the best food on dish next version and frigate is the best hunter.

I'm all for removing HMA from stations, [i]if[/[i] wormholes go back to their old accuracy, with one new exception: Have it check if there's any ships that would collide with it, and fail to open if so.

Not adding that would make it way too easy to WH fish.
