Guys im sorry to post in Genral chat but i have a really seriouse issue at hand and need your help.
I have 2 friends who joined yesterday and a "player" just cussed out one of my friends for making a simple "new player" mistake. My friend i fear may not play this game again and i am very shocked at this "players" behavoir.
When i say cussed out i mean way out of line in public chat cussed him out.
I need help as to how to contact a mod and send the report sceen shots of his action along with his disregard for his behavior saying "Well this game is dead anyways"
I can't beging to say how upseting this is and i hope a mod can take action to ensure this "player" never dose this again.
Sorry to ask, but i don't really understand just how to report yet.

left side on browser window beneath the manual.
I hope this gets resolved and this player gets publicly named.
also you can see which mods and admins are on via GCQL along with the group/friend buttons

Yes im sure someone will say somthing.
Not only was this way out of line but he hurt the player who dropped the F-bomb on.
Made him quit for now. (I hope he comes back to play)
Has discouraged me, upset my friends.
Its all wrong way out of line. Thanks for your help m8, i know what this community is like and i really like all of you guys. I hope there is harsh justic from the mods.

Two ways:
First, when in game or in the lobby, /report will send a message to any staff that are online, as well as log it in the reports database.
"/report sweary Mcswearface is swearing at me in Sagittarius, please make him stop"
This is literally the message we recieve, so try to make it as detailed as possible. Who the culprit is, what they're doing, where they're doing it, that kind of thing.
When you get a reply from a moderator, however, please send messages directly to them rather than continuing to use /report, since otherwise it creates lots and lots of messages.
Second, you can submit a ticket from the menu option on the left hand side of the website

the worst cussing i have ever seen in this game was the b word, and even then they were mod-weary. The fact that your friend got cussed out is insanely unlucky and happen to get somebody probably rage quitting the game. Im sory for you and your friend but that guy was the odd one out, and I hope he gets banned.
Stick with it and encourage your friend to give it another try. I know any FTL members would b happy with answering any questions u or your friend might have.

sad to hear that. but im no supraized cuz...well... like someone said once, DS could be somekind of social experiment. different people, different factions, all for specific reasons.

i know what u mean some one the other day was cussing up a storm. wonder if its the same guy. hmm. sorry that ppl r like that hope u and your friend donot judge all of us from some idiots verbal assullt.

Well i got an update of what happen, it would seem that this person who cussed my friend out droping the F-bomb was given a warning. Thats all i can concluded becuase that player still is playing DS, even after he said "DS is dead" and he likes EVE better.
