when I took Raven to kluth we had a foothold in the ICC home system for a week or so.

That's simply because nobody cared to take them back, just like when me and 3 other people capped over half of the Kluth home system and nobody even tried taking any of the planets back for almost 3 weeks. People are less likely to bother maintaining home systems than frontline MV systems, there's actually less reason for a faction to be in it's own home system than for other factions to be there, at least the others can farm elites.

yes, i was there for that. A whole bunch of icc players taking icc planets as luth. Hardly counts.

and i was speaking abuot pushing a faction all the way from Sag to having just 3 planets in Home server (cus you cannot cap the last two or so).

Ive personaly lead FTL in such attacks against UGTO twice, and Kluth once. (old FTL)

why yes we did.

Ive always viewed this game as a RTS where you controle one unit. A plan, even a half baked one, usualy holds up in the face of your enemy because he has none.

i think this thread's pretty well run its course.

let em have their cake for pushing ugto around, if they wanan eat it too, fine, but no need to go shoving it down their throats.
