Could we get a DS clock on the homepage? One set to server time (military) so its easier to set multi-national meetings?
IE next FTL-FO meeting 7-10-11 16:00hrs DS server time.
(then you look at the DS website clock, and determine when 16:00hrs falls for you. Show up at that time on said day)
This can also apply for offencives, events, and other time sensitive matters. [ This Message was edited by: Defiance*XO* on 2011-07-07 02:37 ]

why not just use GMT time? US central is -6 where i am, so i am 6 hours behind GMT
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/
EDIT: Even if ds were to have a server time set, it would either be GMT time anyways, or they use the time zone where the data server is, which i think is either central time(us) or mountain time(US), so you would still have to transcribe from that time to yours [ This Message was edited by: -Shadowalker-™ on 2011-07-07 03:50 ]

DS clock for DS time,. great idea!
Takes the maths out of converting GMT. +1 from me , We have daylight savings down this way, which only makes converting GMT even more troublesome!

Yeah, GMT would probably be better than the timezone the server is in. Far as I know it's somewhere in Texas, which is either PST or CST depending on how far east/west it is, and I'm not entirely sure whether Texas uses DST or not.

If DS made a clock, it would lag like crap, read right about 10 times a day, and one full rotation would equal Two Weeks. And you know that it wouldn't take long before somebody started whinning about how OP it is, and request it be beat to death with a Nerf bat. Everyone also knows it will favor UGTO over the other races.
Just sayin'.
And u know I'm right, whether you want to admit it or not.

even if they made a DS clock, it would STILL probably be GMT..... and you would STILL have to transpose from that time zone to yours... its pointless... unless your just to lazy to search GMT... and dont 1st grade math...
