Probably the most redundant comment I have seen in a while.

The staff knows a lot more than anyone else about whats in the pipe. Its one of the benefits to being staff after we took away the water cooler to save money.

Might make it nav-map only, and remove the ability to see it in 'normal' view.

That might be better actually, don't really need to see it aside from making sure you aren't going to be jumping into one while navigating.

I often use the effect to see how close I am to escaping the dico.

Could we just add an option to turn it off if you don't like it?

im not a big fan of it, maybe im just so used to the old one but at least make it overlap planets when looking at them.

It is ok if you could add a bit of depth to the sphere, as when you see it you cant really tell how far away or how close it is.
Also in a small cluster with each planet having a dictor (in beta) it does drown out the visuals of the game.
I like the current visuals though it took a while to get use to the spinning discs, still lack depth but better than the beta graphics.
