I'm half and half on this one...but tbh it's like me ringing up Rockstar Games and saying "oy! i've been playin your games since the first gta can i have a gold star and a thanks?".
I think in game skills behaviour and overall helpfulness should be recognised (note, i didnt mention rewarded~) rather than time since first registering.

I lost my Beta account. Can't even remember the name or the email used.
After the game went live, I basically left it and came back only in 2010.

They gave credits to ppl who have "donated" money to the game, and it was realy realy way to much!

were not talking money. Were talking about replacing one of the old badges they took away (navigator) with Service medals. Based on hours/days played.

You gys make this sound like its a radical idea I played in 2001 - 2005 fully active paying $10 a month. Players who are that oldschool should recieve a badge or something to accredit their loyalty to this game.
Service badge sounds great!

i suggest all these who are with DS longer than this site registration obtain "Oldie" status and rent or something {roflcopter}
i will go fine with some refurbished old ship model
