Yes, i agree with this patch, but i still beleave that K'Luth should still have armor regen, After all, it is ORGANIC armor, ICC has defense mode that repairs there sheilding. UGTO have nothing, and K'Luth Arent really ORGANIC anymore, You'd think that K'Luth would have some type of armor regen....Since there organic..
Persay, it's like taking Scabs away, or White blood cells

Think the biggest issue where the AHR change in the last moment, we been testing all ships and balancing those for months, then they make the ahr not repair armor and that makes all ships for luth diffrent.

And as ive stated already on th pre 1.670 post, where we tested the scale, and the ship is a disaster compared to the Heavy cruiser for icc. Thoug no opinions about it have been made after the post :/

ICC small ships will usually come out on top vs Kluth or UGTO small ships 1v1 because of shield regen, but in larger battles Kluth can easily win because of cloak and being able to easily focus fire on one ship at a time.

Did anyone think of testing Scale vs BC?

1.670 so far is basically mass missile spam.

people will lose interest in the game and logout and it's already happening. You need quick fast paced to keep people wanting to play but this seems to forgotten by the people who program.

game did just fine in the years leading up to the depot abomination.

Game will do just fine once all you depot spam generation players learn how DS is really ment to be played.

This is the way its ment to be.

1.670 second day, first serious battle.

- ICC outnumbered UGTO and K'luth by a significant ammount.
- Many different ships everywhere.
- Support Stations are the core of every fleet now, preferably with an interdictor cover.
- Harpex, Harpex, Harpex, Harpex, Harpex, Harpex, Harpex, Harpex, Phoenix, Phoenix, Shroud, Pulse Shield, Pulse Beam, late damage update, dead.

I think we still have to wait several more days for the playerbase to slide back to normal levels and see how it will work then.

Complaints on AHR are just plain misplaced. I'm sorry, but they are.

Back before .483, there was NO organic armor period, and AHR ONLY repped hull. It is called Automated Hull Repair device...the use is in the name. Somewhere that was changed, and doing so made Luth much less of a hit and run faction. I played 'Luth for years before that change, and for two years after. I'm glad they changed it, and I hope they stick to it.

I'm seeing the ICC fight in better fleet mockups, I see lots of dreads and stats for UGTO and K'Luth...I know this may sound like a stretch....but perhaps you have to...dare I say it to the 'Luth...ADAPT.

And missle spam will happen. Its up to the wise to find the right ways to counter it. In a week, everyone will be complaining that missles are worthless, because it turns out me in my scout with a few pulse beams and eccm can completely negate ugto stats worth of missles.

But then, maybe that's just me.

Adapt or die.

So far im very disappointed, but will give it a couple of weeks for the fan faire to die down and give it my verdict. But it is not looking good.

Just tired of having to adapt each and every patch. Darkspace changes its balance more times than I care to remember.

Sorry Azreal I know you mean well but I think the team just tried too hard.

Dude, english man. Prolonged = longer. Engagement = fight.

I'm commenting that longer periods of pvp rather than down time are going to require people fielding ships that complement each other, easily adapt to the various pvp situations, etc etc.

You'd think that more pvp would provide this 'boom boom' you are referring to.

As for K'luth adapting to the current ship layouts and mechanics on our faction, we're all starting to move towards a less dread-heavy fleet composition, unless the non-dread roles are already being played in good numbers, or we simply need to field dreads to counter something.

At the moment, the PB ship composition usually looks like this:

given say, 10 PB on

2 Hives
2 Krill
1 Siphon/Mandi
2 Gangalia
2 Scale/Parasite
1 Brood

Not counting the brood, dread:cruiser composition in PB tends to be 5:2.

I've noticed a lot of times when we pick on a particular lone ship, or initiate an attack, its usually two dreads and a cruiser, plus any smaller luth player who's getting in on the action.

Also, we're thinking about cruiser/dessie/supply grouplings, so watch out

BC is super awsome amazing cool ship.

More defense than a HC

More manuverable than a HC

Same firepower at range

Stealth.

Now if only i could get mine in black?
