Name: when mirv strike back
Team 1: tufr (the united factions resistance) kluth, ugto, and icc ships are available to all players regardless of clan faction. 3 new buttons a ugto button, kluth button, and icc button switches u between factions ships. also if some1 captures a mirv or pirate ship that ship becomes available to play as long as it isnt destroyed in battle it cannot be rebuilt
Team 2: pirates, mirv
team 3: various lifeforms ,gaifen, crystal creatures etc
victory condition complete elimination of mirv and pirates ships too
lose condition all planets lost
description
in this version of the metaverse pirates and mirv control almost every system it is up to the ugto kluth and icc to wipe them out. mirv will have bigger ships that are 2x stronger than normal
starting place sol system
all planets in this metaverse are already built up each one having 1million resorces each
mirv and piratescan only spawn at planets and a aggressively attack tufr controlled ships and planets
there is no blockading of planets and there are no home system jumpgates
tufr only control sol system all others are controlled team 2

I wouldnt want any planets fully built up but 1,000,000 resources sounds sweet!
Neither do i really want mirv having bigger AND stronger ships.
Also how would you control a capped ship when you are controling your own at the same time?

the mirv ship docks at the closest sy. also planets will have to b fully built up as planets r the only spawning points for team 1 and 2. team 3 randomly spawns in a system regardless of whos controlling itoh and planets cant revolt either 1/4 of the mirv ships will invade nearby tufr systems actively and seek to either cap it or eliminate the population which will cause the planet to become lifeless until captured by either team or infested by team 3 which will increase the spawn rate of team 3 in all systems by .5% per planet infested. also mirv ships will be less likely to jump from place to place. this metaverse will require teamwork of all factions in order to win [ This Message was edited by: Musashi Miyamoto on 2011-07-27 04:29 ]

mi or pirates as playable factions, i hate to be the party pooper but devs/mods have allready said on many occasions that MI and pirates will not become playable even for a event and such and even if thay were to make them playable thay would be OP.

The only reason why pirates/MI are sanely beatable is because, no offense to the devs, the ship AI sucks.

i nvr said the mirv and pirates would be playable factions just the ships u captured oh and also mirv will often spawn a dread ship version which comes thru a wormhole that humans cant access. Dread ship versions are 2x stronger than the normal ship and 2x large they have the same mobility as their non dread version ships and same speed. a dread ship ais are harder and avoid crashing into planets actively. all ai ship squads have 1 dread ship and until the dread ship is destroyed all ais will be as hard as dread ship and also actively avoid planets.

no. for any number of reasons.
here's two, randomly selected from all the correct entries.
people complain about few enough people being in the mv as is? sure, lets start up another one... also, more confusion for the newbies.
lets assume, hypothetically, in some crazy cracked out bizarro world, mi/pirates were playable. you can bet they wouldnt be anywhere near as overpowered compared to their human/kluth analogs (and really, thats mostly only the case to compensate for the AI code's current capabilities). take away the extra guns and armor, balance them on par with the rest and they're just different is all.
