do we have to use a link just to get a picture as a signature?
why not just make and extra tab with -upload photo- in the profile settings? it would be easier for everyone.
i'v seen many sites with this feature.

the provision of signatures is a privelege, available only to those who dare to spend 5 minutes uploading a picture to a site and link it to the profile.
tl;dr - DS website cant afford to store pictures for you. but dedicated image hosts can.

Signatures use up diskspace and bandwidth, in this case, they would cause the game lag, this is why DarkSpace has no such feature.
