On the flipside of the owner/investor perspective, I also played for a while an indie MMO that was f2p and funded by the owner. That game wound up with some server problems, was taken offline, and has remained offline now for months. That's the fate of MMOs that can't fund themselves, and that concerns me. I'm sure it concerns everybody.

*shrug* what can you do, if you're like me and can't code.
