If SYs or planets had the ability to shut down cloak, shields or dicos then ships would have that ability too. All in all, dumb ideas.

the best option, is to have spawned ships invincible until a key is pressed. any key

I liked that idea.

Its not the act of camping a sy or spawnpoint that i find disturbing. Its the fact that many people die befor the game even loades. And these kluth dont care if its a vet, or a total noob. Ive seen three noobs totaly run off from the game becouse of such tactics. Ive been on kluth when this is happening, and its something of a sport to them, complete with LOLS and "Great job" pats on the back. Discusting.

i think a shipyard should also act as planet defense structure, shooting fighters at the enemy at small cost of resources or something

furthermore if u camp an enemy sy and died, pls dont qq about it rofl!

There has been long discussion about making sy camping something players get banned for. Ok u wont get banned, but still most ppl arent very happy with sy camping.

LOVE HOW KLUTH ARE GETTING BLAMED FOR EVERYTHING!

WHY WE "SO CALLED SY CAMP"

90% OF THE REASON IS BECAUSE WE HAVE ATTACKED ENEMY SHIP, THEY THEN JUMP BACK 2 SY PLANET HOPING 2 REPAIR IN TIME, SO WE TRACK / FOLLOW THEM. THEY GO OH SH** THEY FOLLOWED BETTER CHANGE SHIP 99% OF THE TIME "AD, EAD, OR STATION" IF WORKING IN TEAMS LIKE KLUTH DO WE STILL TAKE DOWN THERE NEW SHIP N THEY QQ CALL IT SY CAMPING BLAH BLAH

CBF GOING ON ABOUT IT ANYMORE

KLUTH PLAYERS KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT

why not copy something from eve?

when you enter a system, your ship is cloaked for up to a minute or until you do something

->
when you spawn a ship, youre invisible & invulnerable for 30sec or until you press any movement-key
weapons / gadgets should come online a few secs later so you cant spawn & instant alpha from cloak

btw chubba, your caps-key is stuck

it should be obvious that you cant get repairs / heal your shield / get ammo while youre invincible cause youre currently not part of this universe

I agree.. in this instance, SY camping is a enemy force that retreats to a nearby SY and gets access to 8 full health ships a peice as well as an indictor, depot, and planet defense.

My suggestion is ill placed here. I shall move it.

However, my feelings on the OP's version on SY camping is, Bomb the damn planet, or attack another planet, then bomb the SY.. dont sit there like a fool and strike where your enemy is the strongest. (a fact i just did get across to ICC months befor 670 came out) SY camping is no where near as bad as depot camping. You have many tools available to help you with this indevor.

Can't bomb with the nerf to ecm.
Can't bomb with 8 depot plats which are always being remade (Destroyed like 10 and still there were which also makes to hard to blockade the planet in under 30 seconds. (I have no problem with 8 depots being made just means i can't bomb.)
Can't bomb with two players protecting the planet.

What we can do is attack because we have 4 ships (and AI) to there 2.
We would of won but you can attack while SY'ing, and bring a ship back to fight in under 10 seconds.

As a result your not fighting 2 players your fighting 18 players coming at you in waves of 2.

No faction can really fight against that unless you have 6-8 dreads which is stupid.

i think it should stay as is Being attacked when you spawn from a planet by Cloaked luth is a viable tactic its a Danger you should be fully aware of when you spawn, i however do not agree if thare is lag time when you move from system to system and have no control of your ship this is wrong and should be fixed but then again i have no idea how you would fix it.

Hey guys, here's a fix to this problem:

LEARN TO BOMB THE HELL OUT OF THE ENEMY SHIPYARD PLANETS.

Geez, it's not even that difficult. Just hit it a few times and it goes down fast. Stop crying so much. If you're attacking enemies where they have homefield advantage, expect them to make full use of it.

EDIT: Also, "can't bomb due to depot planets": depots don't shoot down bombs. Players do, but that's why bombing takes skill and some teamwork. If your team can't provide you support to bomb the hell out of that shipyard, find a new team because they blow. Two people cannot defend a planet against proper bombing, no way.

You can move while SY'ing which i think shouldn't be allowed otherwise it's the same as before, only with a fancy timer that gives no purpose other then pre-ordering your docking.
