How about we charge credits to repair our ships instantly instead of waiting for a specific time to pass.

So if a player wants to return in his fully prepped ship after getting killed that player can pay lets say 5000 credits and come out of the SY fully repaired...

Or if you dont want to pay, the other option is to wait as we do now......

5K seems much, but an MK type enhancement hull repair would sound nice. i wont use it much though

mabye add one like the energy rechager enchs say 50% hull repair for say 250 creds each (only out of combat usable [to stop abuse])

yeah i like the idea personally.

Repair Kit MK I: Repairs ship 50% and 50% armor when spawning from sy. 1 use, 500 creds.

Feasible? Probably not, but I like it. I use energy rechargers as it is. I could see having one or two of these on hand as well....

It'd have to be way more than 500 credits. There are people with too much money on their hands who would love the idea of a station filled with these.

Make them pricey, so that they are more of a last ditch item that people might want to invest in rather than something people would spam to remain invincible.

I agree with Enterprise, this would vastly benefit those able to pay while those unable or unwilling to will have a disadvantage.

well peeps I was just thinking of another way for Ds to make money.

doesn have to be 5000 I was just reaching .....

but some kind of enhancement to heal would be abused of course...

but a repair fee would I think be a great way to make money...

if a player does not want to wait they can pay... a large fee or wait as usual. either way it cant hurt anything.

you get killed and while in the garage you want to get back in witht the same ship but do not want to wait so long to get back so you pay a hefty fee and your ship comes out repaired completely....

those who chose not to pay can just play out the game as usual....
this idea would only really benefit DS......

just an idea i thought was good for players who have the money to get an advantage they have to pay for like the great enhancements in the game.

we allready have this problem what about the people who cant afford to buy 8 blue enchs to say fit on a ugot ship or 8 to fith on a luth or icc

I have set the balance on another location:

IMO the people that pay for the game + enhancements, should have the right for a little bonus.

So if the argument is that it gives paying players to much power, i have no problems with it personally. There arent many 1 on 1 fights lately anyway and in groups statistics get shadowed by skill.

Also it wont help in combat, it just reduces the 15 minutes reppin time. The old way around it was to scrap the station and spawn a new one from the homesystem. So I suggest making the possible MK repair kit cost as much or a little bit more as removing 8 advanced enh from a ship.

If you don't have the credits, then you don't have the credits.

Why should people who have the creds to pay for the enh not get an advantage to those who don't have them.

Capitalism at work here. Get used to it.


Those who paid for creds support this game financially. Those of us playing it for free have no rights at all to begrudge them.

Did no one read what i put ? MAKE THE HULL REPAIR ENCHS OUT OF COMBAT USABLE ONLY ! that way you cant take them an live for ever while being attacked or attacking some one also take into Account maybe make the enchs something that can only be used out of combat + within X ammount of time of undocking from a shipyard say 2 mins .
